Shepherd Manyika

Shepherd Manyika is an artist-educator whose works take on multiple formats and mediums. He is interested in memory, place, space and repair as restoration. Themes of workshops, play, music and sound are used to create transformative art spaces from within and outside the institution.

Manyika graduated with a BA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins in 2011 and an MA in Academic Practice in Art, Design and Communication from Central Saint Martins in 2019.

Manyika has worked and exhibited with, Wysing Arts Centre, Iniva, AIR, Towner Eastbourne, PRAGMATA, THORP STAVRI, Forced Collaboration, FOLD GALLERY, Asc Gallery Artlicks Weekend, South London Gallery, Tate, Spike Island, Camden Arts Centre, Milton Keynes Arts Centre, Eastcheap Projects Space Hospital Rooms and Cement Fields.
