137 and 143 Histon Road hold a significant historical legacy as the former site of the Henison Granaries, which served as a cornerstone of the community until its closure in 1968. Subsequently re-purposed as a tyre depot, this former industrial and agricultural estate is set to be transformed again with the delivery of 70  homes overall, 28 affordable and 42 privately owned properties.

The site is located to the west of Histon Road, which is one of the main arterial roads to the north of Cambridge and is situated around 1 mile from the city centre.
